The Boone Central
Board of Education met on Monday, September 10th, 2007, at 7:30 p.m. in the
Boone Central Middle School Library located at 203 E. Widaman, Petersburg,
Nebraska. Members present: Tom Briese, Cindy Hemmer, Karen Kayton,
Patti Meyer, Tim Preister, Larry Temme.
President Temme called
the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

I. Public Hearing for the
purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations
of taxpayers relating to the proposed 2007-2008 Budget of Expenditures and
Receipts for the General Fund, Depreciation Fund, Employee Benefit Fund,
Activities Fund, School Lunch Fund, Bond Fund, Special Building Fund, the
Qualified Capital Purpose Undertaking Fund (Hazardous Abatement Fund) and the
Student Fees Fund.
II. Public Hearing to
receive support, opposition or suggestions relative to the proposed 2007-08
property tax requests for the General Fund, Bond Fund and Special Building Fund
of the District and its affiliates.

payment to Newman-Grove to close the account on District 57. This will conclude the partnership
between Newman-Grove (14.63%) and Boone Central School (85.37%)in regards to
District 57. This information was
collected from the 2005-06 audit in which the valuation was Boone Central
28,301,972 and Newman Grove 4,848,415 for a total in District 57 at 33,150,387. Total assets $53,684.04: Newman Grove $7853.98, Boone Central $45,830.06 Carried 6-0
