Boone Central Board of Education met
Monday, August 13, 2007, at 8:00 p.m. in the Boone Central High School FACS
Room located at 605 S. 6th St. in Albion. Members present:
Tom Briese, Cindy Hemmer, Karen Kayton, Patti Meyer, Tim Preister, Larry
Temme. Others present: Mary Thieman, Tim Hamilton, Darrell
Barnes, Joyce Olson, Larry Lambert, Gay Sandman.
President Temme called the meeting to
order at 8:05 p.m.
Special Hearings
I. Public Hearing for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations of taxpayers relating to Student Fee Policy and setting of maximum fees for the 2007-08 school year.
II.
Public Hearing for the purpose of hearing support,
opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations of taxpayers relating to
exceeding the basic allowable growth rate of 2.5% up to 3.5% for the 2007-08
budget.

enrollment (35) and elementary enrollment (209). He also reported on a new teacher evaluation tool.

school enrollment (132), L to J workshop she attended, Online Assessments
workshops at Camp Comeca, Middle Level Academy, Administrator Days, STAR math.
